12 Days of Letting Go

14 days remain of 2024…Can you believe that?!? This last half of the year went by FAST for me! How has this year been for you?

Ever since i heard the phrase, “Vessel of Nourished Joy”, I have been leaning into it and trying to discover what that means for my body. What I found was surprising.

As someone who has a hard time sitting the bench, I dove into the research head-first, trying everything available for me. Can you guess what happened?

There weren’t enough hours in the day to take on all these activities I inherited. It was as if I kept inhaling and inhaling and convinced that exhaling wasn’t necessary.

My initial quest to improve my health ended up forcing my health to take a hit. Because I didn’t manage the polarities, I ended up sleep-deprived, exposed to a poor diet for time-management’s sake, and too much time in front of the screen.

Turns out I needed to let go of something.

This was a hard realization. As someone that relies a bit too much on my self-sufficiency, I like to think I can do it all. I had to pop this bubble, partially. I learned you CAN do it all; just not all at once.

This is the backstory for my newest challenge: 12 Days of Letting Go.

For the next two days I want you to assess where in your life you can give something up. This isn’t always a sacrifice. I discovered many of the things I let go of improved my quality of life. Toxic habits, clutter, expectations…start here with little things to gain some traction.

On December 19th, commit to letting go of one thing each day until the New Year. Please share what you decided to let go of first! And if you need any accountability, DM me.

Let’s simplify our lives for 2025 and create space for nourished joy!
