“You can’t out-exercise your diet.”

Those words pierced my ears at a 5am gym class. It came out of the mouth of one of my favorite instructors.

“That is too much reality this early in the morning.” was my initial response.

But she was right. I used to squeeze in any cardio to justify an extra dessert, but it never worked.

Once I changed my mindset around food, my health improved. Consuming food as fuel instead of for pleasure is a game changer! (and I will let you in on a little secret: eating is still pleasurable!)
